Agency :
Alliance Française sub-office. Some big-city Alliance offices have several agencies, for example in nearby towns, so as to reach more people.
Associate centre :
independent body, usually a business (language school) or academic entity, which is not an Alliance Française office but has a partnership ― notably of an educational nature (training, certification) ― with an Alliance Française office.
Head office :
represents the Foundation and coordinates the Alliance Française offices in a given country.
