In Africa, Latin America and Asia, your donations make it possible to disburse scholarships to students who are underprivileged but very promising. Numerous students all over the world would like to learn French to ensure a better future for themselves. Your donations will spare them of professional difficulties.
The Alliance française establishments are regularly hit by disasters: in Haiti, during the deadly cyclone Hanna, in China, during the earthquake in Sichuan, in Kenya during the riots in Nairobi. The damages are sometimes considerable. Your donations make it possible to rebuild classrooms, libraries, to purchase books and equipment.
